Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter / Vessel Fitter to join our team in Catoosa. This Pipe Fitter / Vessel Fitter role requires a skilled tradesperson with hands-on experience fitting pipe systems and/or pressure vessels in a fabrication shop environment. The Pipe Fitter / Vessel Fitter position demands strong blueprint reading skills, independent work capability, and precision fit-up for welding.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of pipe fitting or vessel fitting experience
• Strong blueprint, isometric, and P&ID reading skills
• Experience fitting carbon steel and stainless steel
• Knowledge of pressure vessel components (preferred for vessel fitters)
• Ability to use hand tools, grinders, torches, and layout tools
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Responsibilities

The Pipe Fitter / Vessel Fitter role includes the following duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs
• Lay out, cut, prep, and fit pipe to specification
• Fit nozzles, heads, and attachments on pressure vessels
• Perform square-to-round transitions and complex fit-ups
• Ensure proper alignment, gap tolerance, and weld readiness
• Work closely with welders to maintain quality standards
• Follow all shop safety procedures
