Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe Fitter Welder to support welding operations for heating and cooling towers. This role focuses on 6G pipe welding, fitting, and fabrication, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and drawings.

The Pipe Fitter Welder plays a critical role in ensuring welded joints meet required strength, integrity, and project specifications.

Weld Test Requirement

• 6G MIG and Flux Core weld test
• 2-inch pipe | Schedule 160
• Test specific to tower fabrication

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 6G welding on pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
• Complete pipe fitting, spool fabrication, assembly, and welding tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure all welds meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications
• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards throughout fabrication

Required Qualifications

• Ability to pass the required 6G MIG / Flux Core weld test
• Extensive experience welding in the 6G position
• Strong background in pipe fitting and tower welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• High attention to weld quality, strength, and integrity
