Pipe Fitter

Pay: $22-26+/hr. ($2/hr shift Differential)

Hours: Monday- Friday 4PM-3AM

Test Type: Mig & Flux Core Pipe

Currently working 50 hours a week Temp to perm with benefits after hired on Must pass Mig & Flux core Pipe test and Tig all the way out – visual and x-ray Minimum of 2 years’ verifiable on the job Pipe welding experience required.

Job Description:

Requires passing a 6G Test Pipe with tig and knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe. Having knowledge of Mig, Metal core, Flux core, Sub-arc or stick welding process is a plus. (Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non-Destructive Exam. May weld brackets and braces and use grinders. May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May perform position welds on code materials. Quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework. Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches and automated equipment. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and may be required to fit up with no supervision. Must be able to operate basic cutting equipment. Promotes and supports safety, production, and positive attitude. Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department. Must be able and willing to work cross functionally in all welding departments
