Pest Service Technician & Material Handler

  • Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
  • Location: Tulsa, OK
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (40–50 hours per week, overtime and weekends as needed)
  • Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview

This position requires working in multiple departments, incorporating responsibilities as a pesticide technician, material handler, and flatbed truck driver. The ideal candidate must be adaptable and willing to perform all required duties across these roles.

Pest Technician Responsibilities

  • Apply termiticide treatments and deliver required building materials such as nails, Visqueen, and steel.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for job-related materials.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all pretreatment vehicles, including termiticide applicators (pump, tank, hose), and overall cleanliness.
  • Maintain an accurate log of job order information using employer-provided forms.
  • Assist steel workers in maintaining the steel yard and storage areas.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the shop, storage buildings, and rebar areas.
  • Enforce and adhere to all company safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Pest Technician Requirements

  • 1–2 years of previous pesticide treatment experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in an industrial setting.

Material Handler/Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport materials to designated locations.
  • Retrieve and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Load and unload materials while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient loading area to support timely deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and maintenance issues, reporting concerns promptly.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Uphold company quality and customer service standards in all interactions.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed, including material handling and stocking.

Material Handler/Driver Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a delivery driver or in material handling.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with safe loading and unloading procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is a plus.
