Job Title: Paint Prep
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Paint Prep Technician to join our Tulsa-based manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in preparing metal components for painting, ensuring quality surface treatment and adherence to production schedules. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Transport parts to and from the paint prep area or staging area using carts

·         Hang parts on the conveyor line for painting

·         Clean raw metal surfaces using thinner and cleaning agents

·         Apply masking to protect areas from paint overspray

·         Spray primer or undercoating on parts as needed

·         Use an air gun to dry parts prior to paint application

·         Buff or grind rough edges to achieve a smooth finish

·         Apply caulking to designated surfaces

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or GED required

·         Minimum of 6 months of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

·         Must be dependable and detail-oriented

·         Ability to work independently and follow instructions

·         Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, bending, and repetitive motions
