Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable individuals for an Order Picker/Packer role at a busy distribution center in Oklahoma City. The Order Picker/Packer will be responsible for accurately packaging merchandise for shipment, ensuring items are prepared safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pack merchandise into boxes or containers for shipping to retail locations.
Verify item numbers, quantities, and packing labels for accuracy.
Inspect merchandise for damage or quality issues.
Use RF scanners or other tracking systems when applicable.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Meet productivity and accuracy goals.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily department targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience (3 years preferred).
Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily as needed.
Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a busy warehouse setting.
Team Player: Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge required.
Versatility: Willingness to perform various warehouse functions.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
