Job Description:
The Mount Assembler 1 installs electrical wires and assembles components on work truck, electrical and industrial equipment, and related industrial apparatus, according to blueprint and wiring diagrams.
Skills/Qualifications/Requirements: Attach finished body to truck using mounting hardware and welding. Square, align, and assemble equipment and structural component. Lay out diagram for electrical installation according to wiring specification based on the Bill of Material. Install lighting. Safely mask off and spray bed liner on appropriate part of truck body inside bed liner paint booth. Install and test welding machine, compressor, impact unit, generator, and outrigger, depending on customer specification. Connect wiring, add hydraulic fluid, and install PTO so that all parts are functional. Perform rework as needed and touch up paint on occasion. Drill and tap hole in specified location for mounting control unit. Attach breaker, relay, contractor, motor, and generator set, meter, plugging device, and fuse block to mounting hole with bolt and screw. Test and adjust electrical assemble. Safely utilize overhead crane, forklift, weld machine and plasma cutter. Plumb body for electrical, hydraulic, and air. An employee is responsible for making sure all product has proper identification prior to moving between processes and including to or from the warehouse storage area. Product must include one of the following forms of identification including, job or sales order, bill of material, routing sheet, Kanban card, placard with part number noting product etc. All material needs to have proper identification, no exceptions.
Education: Certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift Certification
Computer Skills: An individual should have knowledge of Oracle Order processing system and Excel Spreadsheet software.
