• Position Overview

The MIG Welder is responsible for welding metal components to fabricate and repair products according to specifications and quality standards. This MIG Welder role requires strong welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds in a production environment.

• Required Experience & Skills

• Experience performing MIG welding on metal components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld specifications
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The MIG Welder role includes:
• Perform MIG welding to fabricate and repair metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Set up welding equipment and ensure proper operation
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
• Maintain welding equipment and tools
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Weld Test Requirement

• Mocked-up workpiece welded out using MIG

• Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Ability to perform consistent, multi-pass welds

• Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, bending, and working in a shop environment
• Ability to work in conditions involving heat, sparks, and welding equipment
