Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Mig Welder to join a Pryor-based fabrication team building custom-engineered steel building systems. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow in metal fabrication while contributing to production quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

As a Mig Welder, you will:

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding on structural steel components according to specifications; assist in assembling and fabricating metal parts for building systems.
• Quality & Safety: Inspect welds for accuracy and structural integrity; follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Team Support: Collaborate with experienced welders/fabricators to meet production goals; assist with material handling and welding equipment setup.
• Learning & Growth: Receive on-the-job training in welding techniques and fabrication processes; develop skills in blueprint reading and metalworking tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented attitude and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Attention to detail.
