Pay Rate: $20.42 - $26.71/hr + Shift Differential
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIG/Flux Welder to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate must have experience with TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore welding processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Fitter welding experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding Expertise:
    • Perform MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore welding tasks efficiently and accurately.
    • Execute welding operations based on blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
    • Conduct proper fitting and welding operations to ensure quality output.
  • Blueprint Interpretation:
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
    • Ensure precise weld placements according to specifications.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Inspect finished welds to meet quality standards and client expectations.
    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all work processes.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
    • Operate tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Assist team members as needed and ensure timely project completion.
    • Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2+ years of welding experience (MIG, TIG, Fluxcore).
    • Prior experience with fitting is a plus.
  • Education & Testing:
    • Must pass a written weld test, which includes:
      • Print reading
      • General welding knowledge
      • Fractions/decimals
      • Weld symbols
    • Practical test: 3G plate test with a backer.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of welding techniques and materials.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
