Position Overview

The MIG & Flux Core Welder is responsible for welding components used in the production of industrial bandsaw machines. This MIG & Flux Core Welder role focuses on producing high-quality welds while maintaining strict industry and company specifications. The ideal MIG & Flux Core Welder has strong fabrication experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production welding environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience performing MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Strong understanding of weld quality, penetration, and structural integrity
• Ability to work efficiently in a production fabrication environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass required weld tests, background check, and drug screening

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on metal components used in bandsaw machine production
• Ensure welds meet company specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding instructions
• Inspect completed welds for quality, penetration, and appearance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Follow all company welding procedures and safety guidelines

Weld Test Requirements

• T Plate Weld Test

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in industrial welding or fabrication environments preferred
