Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Polisher to join a busy Tulsa manufacturing team. This role is hands-on and requires working with a variety of metals, including brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver. A successful Metal Polisher will demonstrate precision, quality focus, and the ability to work efficiently in a production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and castings using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and drawings to ensure proper finishes.
• Identify and correct surface defects to achieve smooth finishes.
• Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain focus on quality, reporting defects as needed.
• Follow company standards, meet deadlines, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Familiarity with shop equipment, power tools, and polishing equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential physical tasks (standing, bending, handling tools, pushing/pulling).
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and temperature changes.
