Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Metal Polisher to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This position involves deburring, grinding, and polishing sheet metal and metal castings to meet specific finish requirements. The Metal Polisher will work with a variety of metals, including brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver, using both hand tools and power equipment to ensure high-quality surface finishes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and metal castings.
• Use hand and power wheels/belts to polish various metals including brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver.
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and/or drawings to determine specific finish requirements.
• Identify and correct defects to achieve a smooth, specified finish.
• Report any defects to the supervisor.
• Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure all work meets company quality standards.
• Complete assigned work within given timeframes and specifications.

Position Requirements:

• Familiarity with shop equipment and various power tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards, including reporting hazards and following company procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Must use proper lifting techniques and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform essential functions including seeing, hearing, bending, standing, walking, handling objects, pushing/pulling, and fine finger movements with manual dexterity.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
