Metal Polisher

Pay: $15/hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Metal Polisher to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for deburring, grinding, and polishing various metal components using hand and power tools. Ideal candidates will have experience working with metals such as brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver, and be able to interpret technical drawings to meet specific finish requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and metal castings.
• Utilize hand and power wheels/belts to finish brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver materials.
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and drawings to determine finishing specifications.
• Identify and correct surface defects to achieve a smooth and specified finish.
• Properly set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment.
• Report any defects or issues to a supervisor.
• Maintain attention to detail and adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Complete assigned work within given timelines and according to job specifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Capable of performing essential physical job functions including: standing, walking, bending, hearing, handling objects, pushing/pulling, and fine finger movements.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature changes.
