Hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM

Job Description:

The mechanical assembly technician responsibilities include assembling different components or parts of semi-finished or finished goods in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. Will study, read, and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc. Will set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor. Assembles parts or components to build a whole new product. Will contribute to fitting, building, or reconstruction of various parts to ensure smooth process of component amalgamation. Performs regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specifications.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree from trade school is a plus. Previous mechanical assembly manufacturing experience is preferred. Mechanical experience is required. Tubing and high-pressure tubing experience is a plus. Knowledge of safe working practices and proper use of PPE is required. Ability to read and write in English. Must be able to read and understand measuring devices.

Physical Requirements:

Good hand eye coordination, ability to lift 50 pounds, continuous standing for up to 8 hours or more, Bending, kneeling squatting, twisting, Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
