Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Pryor, OK. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies based on instructions, blueprints, and specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications
• Gather necessary parts, tools, subassemblies, and materials
• Assemble metal components, subassemblies, and complete systems following work orders or verbal instructions
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welders, and machines to meet required tolerances
• Test and calibrate parts or mechanisms to ensure proper fit and functionality
• Perform “go” and “no-go” testing using measuring instruments to meet production standards
• Assemble relatively large or heavy units with precision

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (occasionally more)
• Must possess or be able to obtain basic hand tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
• A successful Mechanical Assembler will demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and strong problem-solving skills
