Mechanical Assembler

Pay: $16-24/hr.

Hours: Monday- Thursday 6AM-4:30PM

Job Requirements:  Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic assemblies. Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Willing to travel domestically to customer locations for on-site equipment setup, repairs, and troubleshooting. Must own or be willing to purchase the minimum set of tools required for job and a locking toolbox (Wrenches, hex/allen sets, socket sets, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wire crimpers, wire strippers, vice grips) Must be prepared to work overtime. Knowledge/understanding blueprints and schematics PREFERRED. Two years of field specific Technical or Vocational education PREFERRED. PREFERRED knowledge of automotive, engine rebuilding, anything mechanical assembly.*

Job Description:

Machines are assembled from the ground up here. Mechanical Assembly Technicians work with mechanical and hydraulic components such as diesel engines, pumps, hoses, and more. Knowledge of motor mechanics, basic electrical wiring, and schematics/blueprints are important parts of this job. Along with the normal duties of assembly their technicians may also perform maintenance on products sent in for repair by customers or distributors as needed. Skills in communication and teamwork are a must.
