Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $17.64–$18.52/hour DOE
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Join a Tulsa-based manufacturing company as a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving team member! This role works inside a climate-controlled facility where tight-tolerance sheet metal products are produced. The Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving is responsible for performing stock-keeping functions for incoming and outgoing goods, including loading and unloading parts to and from machines, counting and stacking parts on pallets, moving pallets or carts between staging areas, packaging, assembly, and stocking parts on shelves.
Essential Functions
- Perform stock-keeping functions for incoming goods, packaging, and inventory counting.
- Monitor printer for picking tickets to ensure orders are picked on time.
- Unpack and verify the receipt of customer-returned goods.
- Support ongoing production processes and operations.
- Perform weekly cycle counts.
- Unpack and verify, by count and item identification, the receipt of all goods delivered.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven forklift experience.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory systems with a strong work history.
- Ability to do quick math when needed and use computers efficiently.
- Must be team-oriented, organized, and self-sufficient with strong attention to detail.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position qualifies as such because it includes the handling and movement of materials and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
This position may also include:
- Handling, packaging, processing, storage, disposal, or transport of hazardous materials.
- Operating vehicles, forklifts, and machinery.
- Repairing, maintaining, or monitoring equipment performance that could result in injury or property damage if misused.
- Working around critical systems including electrical, gas, or manufacturing utilities.
Physical requirements include:
- 95% of the normal work shift spent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while performing assembly work or inspections.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. from floor level and carrying parts 10–15 feet as needed.
- Using lifting devices or team-lifting when possible.
- Moving, pulling, and positioning parts without the benefit of material handling devices due to limited space.
