Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving professional to join a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK. The Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving position supports production by performing accurate stock-keeping functions, managing incoming and outgoing materials, and maintaining organized workflow between departments. This role requires attention to detail, forklift experience, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

• Perform stock-keeping and inventory functions for incoming goods and packaging materials.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring products are handled with care and accuracy.
• Count, verify, and record received goods, matching shipments against documentation.
• Monitor picking tickets to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and correctly.
• Move pallets or carts between staging, assembly, and storage areas.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with packaging, assembly, and stocking parts on shelves as needed.
• Support ongoing warehouse and production operations, maintaining workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven forklift experience required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory systems, and order tracking.
• Ability to perform basic math and computer tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Must be team-oriented and self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• This is a safety-sensitive position, involving the operation of forklifts, power tools, and handling materials.
• Requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing for up to 95% of the work shift.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs safely (team lifts and lifting devices used when possible).
• Work is performed in a climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels and tight workspace areas.
