Position Overview
The Material Handler supports warehouse and production operations by managing materials, operating forklifts, and assisting with general utility duties. This Material Handler role begins with warehouse and material handling responsibilities while offering opportunities for advancement into manufacturing roles such as production, quality control, maintenance, and tooling. The ideal Material Handler is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and move heavier materials using equipment • Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace policies • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing • Reliable attendance and dependable work habits • Ability to work independently and support team operations in a manufacturing environment • Must maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport raw materials and finished goods • Operate a 1-ton bobtail delivery truck for material transport when required • Manage warehouse inventory including raw materials and finished products • Prepare and maintain raw materials for production processes • Support production technicians and packaging personnel as needed • Move materials weighing up to 200 lbs using proper material handling equipment • Perform general warehouse cleaning and organization including delivery truck and tumbling area • Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Preferred Education
• Forklift certification preferred but not required • Experience in plastic injection molding preferred • Vo-tech training or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or maintenance fields a plus
