Position Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for moving and staging materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using forklifts and other material handling equipment. This Material Handler role supports production and warehouse operations by safely transporting large loads, maintaining workflow efficiency, and assisting with heavy material movement. The ideal Material Handler is experienced operating industrial forklifts and comfortable working in an environment that requires frequent heavy lifting and attention to safety.

Required Experience & Skills

• Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience required
• Experience handling large or oversized loads using forklifts
• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent weekend schedule

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely throughout the facility
• Transport large and heavy loads between production and storage areas
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials for production
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment guidelines
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow operations

Preferred Education

• Overhead crane experience preferred
