Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and materials movement operations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining production flow by accurately processing, labeling, and transporting materials throughout the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, inspect, store, issue, and deliver materials, equipment, and supplies
• Load and unload deliveries manually or with forklifts/pallet jacks
• Label, store, and pack/unpack products
• Read and follow work orders and ensure accuracy of job numbers
• Maintain inventory records and update material movement documentation
• Verify material quantities and condition upon receipt
• Prepare products for shipment according to specifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic data entry and math skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment preferred

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

• Must be able to walk and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Frequent movement including twisting, pulling, kneeling, crouching, and grasping
• Work is performed in an industrial environment
