Job Title: Material Handler
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Catoosa, OK
Pay: $20–$23/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Catoosa, OK. This role involves performing a wide range of material handling duties, including operating forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, and other equipment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts of various sizes and types
• Safely operate bridge cranes, jib cranes, and scissor lifts
• Interact professionally with truck drivers and delivery personnel
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain proper documentation
• Properly rig loads for safe lifting and movement
• Assess and determine the best handling process for materials and finished products
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including JSAs, PPE requirements, and work instructions
• Identify and appropriately manage defective items
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Certification in forklift, crane, and other lifting devices
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
• Physically capable of frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Problem-solving skills and ability to use reasoning in daily operations
• Commitment to safety for self and team
• Takes pride in delivering quality work on a daily basis
