Job Overview:

A Tulsa-based company is seeking a Material Handler - Shipping & Receiving to join their team in a climate-controlled facility specializing in tight-tolerance sheet metal products. This role involves accurately performing stock-keeping functions, handling incoming and outgoing goods, packaging, and supporting production operations. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of forklift experience and a strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Perform stock-keeping functions for incoming goods, packaging, and inventory counting.

·         Monitor the printer for picking tickets to ensure timely order fulfillment.

·         Unpack and verify the receipt of all customer-returned goods.

·         Support ongoing processes and operations in the warehouse.

·         Conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.

·         Verify received goods from vendors by count and item identification.

·         Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum of two years of proven forklift experience.

·         Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory systems with relevant work experience.

·         Strong math skills for quick calculations when needed.

·         Proficiency in using computers and warehouse management software.

·         Team-oriented and capable of working independently.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

This safety-sensitive position involves tasks that could impact the safety and health of the employee and others. Responsibilities include:

·         Handling, packaging, processing, storage, disposal, or transport of hazardous materials.

·         Operating motor vehicles, equipment, and power tools.

·         Repairing, maintaining, or monitoring critical machinery.

·         Moving, lifting, pulling, and pushing materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

·         Working in confined areas where material handling devices may be limited.

The role requires 95% of the shift to be spent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while performing warehouse tasks.
