Job Position: Material Handler
Location: Sapulpa, OK 74066
Pay Rate: $17.00+/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Some Saturdays Required)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our team in Sapulpa, OK. This position requires working in a fast-paced industrial environment with overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, and automated systems. Due to the nature of the work, this job is classified as a SAFETY SENSITIVE position, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Material Handling & Logistics:

o    Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks efficiently and safely.

o    Pack materials appropriately before loading to prevent damage.

o    Locate and stage raw materials and packed products as needed.

o    Follow job instructions to accurately fulfill material moving orders.

o    Operate industrial trucks and electric hoists to transport materials.

o    Ensure smooth movement of materials using forklifts and other handling equipment.

·         Productivity & Quality Control:

o    Maintain productivity levels to meet company-established standards.

o    Ensure workmanship consistently meets company quality expectations.

o    Follow company safety policies and procedures rigorously.

o    Sustain 5S requirements by keeping work areas clean and organized.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         Strong desire to work professionally as part of a team and contribute effectively.

·         Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.

·         Completion of forklift training and certification (preferred).

·         Basic fabrication shop experience is a plus.

·         Ability to read and write basic shop communications.

·         Proficiency in using a shop tape measure accurately.

·         Commitment to upholding workplace safety and quality standards.
