Job Position: Material Handler

Location: Sapulpa, OK 74066
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with occasional Saturdays)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Sapulpa, OK. This temp-to-hire position is integral to maintaining efficient material movement within the facility, ensuring productivity and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks.
• Appropriately pack materials before loading for secure transportation.
• Locate raw materials and packed products for production and shipping.
• Follow instructions to understand and execute material moving orders accurately.
• Operate industrial trucks, forklifts, and electric hoists to handle material movement and loading.
• Ensure productivity levels meet company-defined standards.
• Consistently produce workmanship that adheres to the company’s quality standards.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures diligently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sustaining 5S requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Teamwork: Demonstrate a professional attitude, working effectively as part of a team and contributing to timely project completion while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to pass forklift training and operate forklifts safely.
• Communication Skills: Able to read and write basic shop communications.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in using a shop tape measure.
  • Basic fabrication shop experience.
