Manual Lathe Machinist & CNC Mill/Lathe Operator

Pay: $23–$26/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist & CNC Mill/Lathe Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with precision equipment to create high-quality parts, collaborating with a team that values expertise, innovation, and excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate manual mill and lathe machines to meet precise part specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Select the right tooling and set up machines to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to strict quality standards.
• Make offsets and edits independently to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with the team during R&D design reviews to ensure project success.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Mentor and assist less experienced machinists and CNC operators.
• Interpret blueprints to guide machining processes.
• Set up and operate EDM machines as needed.
• Handle additional tasks requiring critical thinking and sound judgment.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal training in CNC programming and operation or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience programming and operating CNC and manual machines.
• Proficiency with CNC equipment, micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Strong mathematical skills, including knowledge of geometry and trigonometry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
