Job Description:

Journeyman/Lineman Experience Required

Must be able to repair and maintain overhead bridge cranes Jib Cranes and other types of machinery require diagnosing and making solid recommendations to repair all equipment as needed. Must have knowledge in repairing, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to the sounds to locate cause of trouble. Perform monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts; Confer with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections. Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections; repair or replace defective parts; install special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricate and clean parts. Start devices to test their performance. Layout, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
