Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician I / Driver is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting facility operations. This Maintenance Technician I / Driver role also includes driving a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and materials locally. The ideal Maintenance Technician I / Driver is mechanically inclined, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required Experience & Skills

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical systems (120, 240, 480 3-phase)
• Knowledge of plumbing systems (PVC and piping)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong reliability, attendance, and customer service mindset

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
• Complete basic repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work
• Maintain and repair building fixtures (lights, doors, windows, floors, etc.)
• Select and use appropriate tools and materials for maintenance tasks
• Support daily maintenance department operations
• Drive a company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
