Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment near Collinsville. The Maintenance Technician will coordinate maintenance functions, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with equipment repairs to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

This Maintenance Technician role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to support multiple maintenance activities including welding, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician role includes:

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems
• Prepare tools and parts for scheduled maintenance activities
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble equipment and components
• Assist manufacturing teams with equipment cleaning and maintenance support
• Perform standard fabrication and repair tasks as needed
• Provide technical support involving welding, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Build and modify jigs and manufacturing fixtures
• Assist with equipment installation, demolition, and system decontamination
• Participate in operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor team members by sharing maintenance knowledge and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience required (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Intermediate mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of maintenance tools, equipment, and repair practices
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for 10+ hours per shift
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and physical work
• Ability to operate manual and powered maintenance tools
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted using proper safety techniques
• Ability to work in industrial shop environments, including confined spaces when required
