Maintenance Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production machinery and facility systems. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support mechanical and electrical repairs in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
Core Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance
Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and cleaning of machine components (ways, screws, pumps, gearboxes)
Monitor equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, heat, or fluid leaks
Cleaning & Containment
Identify and clean areas where machine fluids escape containment
Implement corrective measures to prevent recurring leaks or overspray
Troubleshooting
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Identify root causes and recommend effective solutions
Repairs & Component Replacement
Disassemble machinery to replace pumps, seals, bearings, sensors, motors, and related components
Test repaired equipment to confirm proper operation
Equipment Installation
Install and align CNC machines, pumps, cranes, and production equipment
Ensure proper commissioning per manufacturer requirements
Fabrication
Modify or fabricate parts when replacements are unavailable using welding or machining tools
Documentation
Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system
Track and communicate critical spare part needs
Essential Skills
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
