Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturer of pressure vessels in Sand Springs, OK. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within our manufacturing facility. This position requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pressure vessel manufacturing equipment, including welding machines, hydraulic presses, compressors, and CNC machinery.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain and repair piping, valves, pressure systems, and other critical plant components.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies when performing maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance logs.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to prevent disruptions in production.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a pressure vessel or metal fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with welding, machining, and fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Working in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, heat, and hazardous materials (with proper PPE).
