Maintenance Technician

Pay: $27.00 and up D.O.E.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM (OT as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning equipment efficiently and accurately.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
  • Safety Procedures: Implement and adhere to lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Work Area Organization: Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
  • Electrical Expertise: Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
  • Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safety standards.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
  • Mechanical Understanding: Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical systems.
  • Chemical Safety: Comfortable working with potentially hazardous chemicals.
  • Plumbing and Heating Knowledge: General knowledge of plumbing and heating systems is a plus.
  • Robotics Knowledge: Familiarity with robotics is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
