Maintenance Tech

Pay: $24-26hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 5PM-3:30AM

Job Description:

Perform activities concerned with maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant by performing the following duties. Repairs and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Performs monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts. Confers with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections. Must have a valid driver’s license to be able to drive to different locations within the Port. Observes and inspects mechanical devices in operation may consist of listening to equipment in operation to determine mechanical needing adjusted or replaced some disassembly is required to access certain devises needing to be observed mechanical skills are required in repairing mechanical equipment.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 5-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
