Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee day-to-day operations within a food production environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will manage preventative maintenance efforts, guide repair work, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards to support uninterrupted plant operations.

Essential Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:

• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of all tasks and work orders.
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
• Inspect machinery, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and lead or assist in repairs.
• Ensure maintenance procedures comply with OSHA, USDA, and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate external vendor services and maintain records of repairs, inspections, and part inventories.
• Maintain maintenance metrics, budgets, and present reports to management.
• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of prior Maintenance Supervisor experience in meat processing, food production, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and pipefitting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Regular twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Standing and walking on concrete floors in a wet and cold production area (as low as -40ºF).
• Exposure to raw meat odors and strong marinades; use of PPE required including hearing protection, smocks, and hard hats.
