Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to lead and support industrial maintenance operations in a heavy production environment. The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs while promoting a strong safety-first culture and ensuring maximum equipment uptime.
Leadership & Oversight
Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily work orders
Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
Provide hands-on support with complex troubleshooting and repairs
Maintenance Operations
Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and service reports
Monitor equipment performance and proactively schedule repairs
Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Guide dismantling, repairing, and reassembling of industrial machinery
Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments to identify root causes
Safety & Compliance
Enforce OSHA, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and PPE requirements
Train staff on safe work practices and equipment handling
Conduct safety audits and maintain a clean work environment
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (heavy equipment or manufacturing preferred)
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical certifications or trade school training preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred
Ability to operate hoists, cranes, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
