Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to lead and support industrial maintenance operations in a heavy production environment. The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs while promoting a strong safety-first culture and ensuring maximum equipment uptime.

Leadership & Oversight

• Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily work orders
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Provide hands-on support with complex troubleshooting and repairs

Maintenance Operations

• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and service reports
• Monitor equipment performance and proactively schedule repairs

Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Guide dismantling, repairing, and reassembling of industrial machinery
• Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments to identify root causes

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and PPE requirements
• Train staff on safe work practices and equipment handling
• Conduct safety audits and maintain a clean work environment

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (heavy equipment or manufacturing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical certifications or trade school training preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred
• Ability to operate hoists, cranes, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
