Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (may work 10–11-hour shifts, Saturdays as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join a highly skilled industrial maintenance team in Broken Arrow. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and related mechanical systems used in compressors, generators, and other industrial equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant flushes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving fuel, turbocharger, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment safely.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess performance and identify faults.
• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation technicians to ensure full system functionality.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in diesel engine maintenance (industrial or oil/gas preferred).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Must meet all OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working in extreme weather, and performing in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions

The Maintenance Mechanic position requires bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and reaching. Employees will sit or stand for extended periods, lift 25–50 lbs, and wear full PPE (fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, goggles, and steel-toed boots).
