Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Helper to support maintenance operations in a high-production manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. This is a hands-on role focused on assisting with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep production running efficiently. Candidates with industrial maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. Welding experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues on production equipment
Repair and maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, belts, and drives
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
Respond to equipment breakdowns during active production
Assist with welding and fabrication as needed
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Support maintenance of brick extruders, kilns, kiln cars, dryers, and conveyors
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Welding Experience (Preferred, Not Required)
MIG welding experience is a plus
Stick welding experience is a plus
Requirements & Qualifications
Industrial maintenance experience required
Manufacturing or heavy industrial background preferred
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to use standard and specialized hand tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must pass a drug screen and background check
