Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Oven Operator to join our team in Owasso, OK. This role is responsible for operating industrial ovens and following company processes to cook and process meat products while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience operating oven machinery, a solid understanding of food safety regulations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

·         Oven Operation: Independently run industrial ovens, ensuring all cooking and processing meet strict production specifications.

·         Equipment Setup: Prepare and set up ovens for the evening shift, ensuring all equipment is ready for operation.

·         Monitoring & Adjustments: Constantly monitor temperature, humidity, and cooking times, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal product quality.

·         Handling Heavy Loads: Safely move and push product tanks weighing between 200 lbs. and 650 lbs. while ensuring proper loading and unloading of meat products.

·         Production Efficiency: Ensure products are processed on time and efficiently, following production schedules and scanning out tickets correctly.

·         Routine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting on ovens to ensure consistent and efficient operation.

·         Safety & Hygiene Compliance: Follow strict safety and hygiene standards throughout the cooking process to maintain product integrity and worker safety.

·         Collaboration: Work alongside production team members to meet daily targets and assist in other tasks as needed, including spreading or dumping products during breaks.

·         Problem Reporting: Document and report any deviations, issues, or concerns to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications & Skills

·         Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator preferred.

·         Technical Skills: Knowledge of industrial oven operations and ability to adjust settings to meet production needs preferred.

·         Safety & Compliance: Strong understanding of food safety regulations and ability to adhere to strict hygiene protocols.

·         Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy meat products and work in a warm environment.

·         Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to quality control and accuracy.

·         Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

·         Teamwork & Efficiency: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions, and meet production targets.
