Pay: $18/hour+
Location: Tulsa
Shift: Friday – Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (training Monday – Friday for 2 weeks; OT as needed, hours may fluctuate)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Machine Operator/Helper to support coil steel processing and production operations in Tulsa. The Machine Operator/Helper will assist with setup, operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of machines while ensuring high-quality output. This position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation
• Assist with general labor duties throughout shop areas
• Operate and monitor multiple machines to ensure quality production and minimal downtime
• Communicate with team members to support continuous, high-quality output
• Move materials safely using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Follow all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain work area cleanliness
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned as part of the Machine Operator/Helper role

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of production and plant processes
• Ability to use precision measuring tools
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for calculations
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Dependable team player
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, stand, or walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Specific vision requirements: close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Occasional exposure to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions
