Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is hiring dependable and motivated Machine Operators for a well-established machine shop in Joplin, MO. The Machine Operator will assist in machining precision components in a non-climate-controlled environment, working hands-on with metal parts and automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce precision parts to specification.
• Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to shop safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Reliable attendance and strong work history are essential.
• Ability to stand for long periods during the workday.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Prior machine operating experience preferred, but training is available for reliable candidates with consistent attendance.
