Job Position: Machine Operator
Pay: $25.00+ per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Overtime as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations involving laser, brake press, punch, water jet, and CNC router equipment. This role focuses on cutting raw materials into finished flat components while following engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.

The Machine Operator will convert engineering data into SigmaNest programs, operate CNC-controlled machinery, and ensure production aligns with MRP requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate brake press, laser, punch, CNC router, and water jet machines safely and efficiently
• Convert engineering drawings and models into SigmaNest programs
• Make program adjustments at the machine as required
• Cut raw materials into finished flat parts to support downstream processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Use standard measuring and inspection equipment to verify part dimensions
• Ensure production aligns with MRP sequencing and priorities
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic machining practices and CNC fundamentals
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Experience operating CNC-controlled equipment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Experience using SigmaNest or similar nesting software
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Technical school training in CNC operations or equivalent hands-on experience
• Prior experience operating laser, punch, water jet, or CNC router equipment preferred
• On-the-job training provided for machine- and process-specific requirements
