Position Overview

The Laundry Attendant supports hotel operations by ensuring linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and organized according to hospitality standards. This Laundry Attendant role involves operating commercial laundry equipment, maintaining a clean laundry workspace, and ensuring guests receive fresh, high-quality linens daily. The ideal Laundry Attendant is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to operate commercial washers and dryers safely
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting and handling linens
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when handling laundry loads
• Reliable attendance and availability to work weekends when needed
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers and dryers following hotel procedures
• Sort linens, towels, and laundry by type and level of soil before washing
• Load and unload machines while ensuring items are cleaned thoroughly
• Fold, stack, and organize clean linens for distribution to hotel departments
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room, machines, and workstations
• Refill detergents, chemicals, and laundry supplies as needed
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with staff and guests

Preferred Experience

• Laundry, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required
