• Position Overview

The Laser Programmer is responsible for operating and programming laser cutting equipment to produce precision metal components. This Laser Programmer position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and production drawings to ensure accurate and efficient cutting operations.

• Required Experience & Skills

• Previous laser operating or programming experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and cutting processes
• Experience with machine setup and program adjustments
• Strong attention to quality and measurement accuracy
• Ability to troubleshoot machine or program issues
• Commitment to safety and production standards

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Program and operate laser cutting machines to produce parts to specification
• Set up materials and adjust machine settings as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Read work orders and follow production schedules
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area organized
• Document production and quality checks
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Preferred Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical training in machining or fabrication is a plus
