• Position Overview

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce precision metal components according to specifications. This Laser Operator role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow production drawings, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

• Required Experience & Skills

• Previous laser machine operating experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Knowledge of sheet metal or fabrication processes
• Experience with machine setup and material handling
• Strong attention to measurement accuracy and quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a production setting
• Commitment to workplace safety

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to produce parts to specification
• Load and position materials for cutting operations
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Follow production schedules and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Document production activities and report issues as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

• Preferred Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical training in fabrication or machining is a plus
