Description: Job Title: Laser Operator Job Type: Temp-Perm Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00PM-10:30 PM Pay Rate: $20.00 Location: Joplin, MO Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to support manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently operating laser cutting equipment. This role is ideal for individuals with prior laser machine experience who can work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities • Operate laser cutting machines according to work orders and production schedules. • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts using forklifts or overhead cranes as required. • Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to ensure optimal operation. • Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. • Perform basic machine maintenance and routine equipment checks. • Accurately complete production documentation and follow all work instructions. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and shift transitions. Qualifications • Previous laser operator or CNC laser experience required. • Experience with fiber laser systems preferred. • Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred. • Ability to read and follow work orders, blueprints, or production instructions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required. • Safety-conscious, dependable, and team-oriented.
