Position Overview

An Owasso-based manufacturing company is seeking a Laser Operator to support laser cutting operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves machine setup, material handling, and post-processing tasks to ensure efficient and accurate production of metal components. The Laser Operator must be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload sheet metal and other materials onto laser cutting machines.
• Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operation.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Perform deburring, cleaning, and sorting of laser-cut components.
• Organize and label parts for downstream processes or shipping.
• Monitor material usage and report shortages or defects to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all company safety protocols.
• Communicate equipment concerns and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal fabrication and laser cutting processes.
• Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
