Position Overview
We’re hiring a highly skilled Journeyworker HVAC/Mechanical Installer for commercial construction projects in the Tuttle area. This Journeyworker HVAC/Mechanical Installer position requires advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety and quality on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Install HVAC systems, ductwork, and ventilation components per project specifications
Assist with mechanical rough-in, including equipment placement, line routing, and fittings
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job site plans
Layout, assemble, and install piping, drains, and various mechanical components
Ensure all work meets local codes, safety requirements, and company standards
Coordinate with supervisors and collaborate with other trades to maintain workflow
Requirements & Qualifications
Journeyworker-level HVAC or Mechanical Installer experience (license required)
Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems and duct installation
Ability to work on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and meet construction physical demands
Must pass drug screening and background checks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must follow all PPE and job site safety requirements
Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to interpret technical instructions
