Must have A+ Certification. In office position, not a remote opportunity.
The IT Helpdesk will ensure optimal daily performance of computer systems, addressing user inquiries through various channels. Executes commands, troubleshoots errors, and performs system maintenance tasks. Sets up and installs equipment for employee use, including cables, operating systems, and software. Conducts minor repairs on hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Records and documents daily data transactions, solutions to problems, and installation activities. Reads technical manuals, conducts diagnostics, and provides technical assistance to users. Escalates major hardware or software issues to higher support levels. Offer comprehensive support for computer systems, software, and hardware-related queries and issues. Develops training materials, procedures, and conduct user training sessions for hardware and software utilization.
Requirements:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates/bachelor’s degree in information technology computer science or related field is preferred. Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Knowledge of basic computer hardware, printers, scanners, and mobile devices. Well-developed written and verbal communication and listening skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
